Due to maintenance issues at the refuge, indoor restrooms may not be available on the following dates: 3/13, 3/21 to 4/11.

The Blackland Prairie Raptor Center (BPRC) hosted a special event for the photo club and guests. BPRC’s raptor ambassadors were on display to photograph. Raptor Educational Ambassadors: -- Baby (no name yet) the Great Horned Owl (GHOW) -- Missi the Mississippi Kite (MIKI) -- Petunia the Black Vulture (BLVU) -- Cleopatra the American Kestrel (AMKE), female -- Wilbur the American Kestrel (AMKE), male, with gray -- Ginger the Eastern Screech Owl (EASO) - red phase -- Pepper the Eastern Screech Owl (EASO) - gray phase |
